<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - February 19, 1968.
<br />
<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor MOll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Linebarger
<br />and Shie Ids.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of January 29, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Moll and Shields. Nays - None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the L & Z ~1anufacturing Company
<br />rezoning request from R-l to B-3 at 1881 North Rice Street be cont-
<br />inued until February 26, 1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Moll and Shields. Nays - None.
<br />
<br />Grauel ~1oved, Linebarger Seconded, that the request of Ban-Con, Inc.
<br />for a ten foot variance at the rear lot line at 247 Capitol View Circle
<br />be approved as recommended by the Planning Commission. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Moll and Shields. Nays - None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the request of Ban-Con, Inc.
<br />for variance to rear yard setback at 251 Capitol View Circle be
<br />referred to the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Moll and Shields. Nays - None.

<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that the variance request and
<br />preliminary plat for the Ban-Con townhouse development at County
<br />Road C and Mackubin Street be referred to the Planning Commission;
<br />and that the final plat hearing on this subdivision be set for
<br />March 11, 1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley ,Graue 1 , Linebarger, Moll
<br />and Shields. Nays - None.

<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Minnesota Highway Depart-
<br />ment plans for an overpass at Victoria Avenue and T.H. 36 be laid
<br />over and that the matter be referred to the County Board for their
<br />recommendation. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Moll
<br />and Shields. Nays - None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that Minnesota Highway Department
<br />plans for County Road C-2 and Snelling Avenue be laid over and that
<br />a meeting be set up with Howard Dahlgren, Consulting Planner, the
<br />Council and the Minnesota Highway Department. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Moll and Shields. Nays - None,

<br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that a public hearing be set
<br />for Long rezoning request at 2239 St. Stephens Street for March II,
<br />1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Moll and Shieldso
<br />Nays - None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request by Target Store
<br />for a building code variance for a temporary structure for a garden
<br />and lawn store be approved for the period February 26, 1968 to
<br />November I, 1968 i and that the structure be removed after November I,
<br />1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, ~bll and Shields.
<br />Nays - None.
