<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - March 25, 1968,

<br />The Village Council met on the above date \1Ii th the following
<br />members present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger and Shields.

<br />Curley Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the regular
<br />meeting of March 18, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley ~-1oved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of March 19, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and ~IDll. Nays: Nonc.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the interchange plans
<br />at County Road C-2 and Snelling Avenue be laid over; and that
<br />when the Council takes up this matter in the future, the people
<br />be notified. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger,
<br />Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the concept of an overpass
<br />at T.H. 36 and Victoria be approved; and that a letter be written
<br />to the County Engineer asking for a time schedule on signal lights
<br />at County Road B and Victoria. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Linebarger Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request of Wallace N.
<br />Wewers for vacation of Ida Street between County Road B-2 and
<br />Grandview Avenue be denied as recommended by the Planning Commission.

<br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the Zimmerman request
<br />for variance on air conditioning units for thai 1" ktpar:.mcnts at
<br />Commerce and Albert Streets be laid over until our meeting of April 8,
<br />1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that a public hearing be established
<br />for April 15, 1968, on the Roberts rezoning request at C joland and
<br />County Road C-2. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger,
<br />Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Linebarger ~IDved, Shields Seconded, that the Village lots on
<br />Skillman Avenue immediately east of Hamline Avenue be sold to
<br />Urban Schultz for $5,000 per buildable lot. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: Grauel.

<br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that Contractors Estimate #4
<br />Project 66-26, 66-27 and 66-28 be paid E~~in Montgomery Const-
<br />ruction Company in the amount of $26,243.98. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and MolL Nays: None.
