EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 26th day of November, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Johnson (arrived at 8:30 p.m.), Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8629 A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING VACATION OF A PORTION OF RYAN AVENUE AND A PORTION OF LAKE STREET ADJACENT TO GARCELONS ADDITION WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the city Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appears that by reason the right-of-way is unimproved and not needed it would be beneficial to the public interest to recommend vacating said street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby recommends vacating the public street over the property described as follows: ALL THAT PORTION OF RYAN AVENUE LYING NORTH OF BLOCK 2, GARCELONS ADDITION, AND THAT PORTION OF LAKE STREET LYING NORTH OF THE EASTWARD EXTENSION OF THE NORTH LINE OF BLOCK 2, GARCELONS ADDITION, SUBJECT TO THE CITY RETAINING A PATHWAY EASEMENT OVER THE SOUTH 15 FEET OF SAID VACATED RYAN AVENUE AND SAID VACATED LAKE STREET FOR NON-MOTORIZED PATHWAY PURPOSES. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
