<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 26th day of November, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Johnson (arrived at 8:30 p.m.), <br />Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, and Rog and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8629 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING VACATION OF A PORTION OF RYAN AVENUE <br />AND A PORTION OF LAKE STREET ADJACENT TO GARCELONS ADDITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the city Council <br />held a public hearing to determine whether or not said street in the <br />City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that by reason the right-of-way is unimproved and <br />not needed it would be beneficial to the public interest to recommend <br />vacating said street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville hereby recommends vacating the public street over the <br />property described as follows: <br /> <br />ALL THAT PORTION OF RYAN AVENUE LYING NORTH OF BLOCK 2, <br />GARCELONS ADDITION, AND THAT PORTION OF LAKE STREET LYING <br />NORTH OF THE EASTWARD EXTENSION OF THE NORTH LINE OF BLOCK 2, <br />GARCELONS ADDITION, SUBJECT TO THE CITY RETAINING A PATHWAY <br />EASEMENT OVER THE SOUTH 15 FEET OF SAID VACATED RYAN AVENUE <br />AND SAID VACATED LAKE STREET FOR NON-MOTORIZED PATHWAY <br />PURPOSES. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, <br />and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
