<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - May 13, 1968.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members-present: Mayor ~1oll, Councilmen Grauel, Curley, Linebarger
<br />and Shields.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the minutes of the regular
<br />meeting of April 29, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, tilat the problems of the
<br />missile in Central Park be heard at this time; that the rules
<br />of procedure be waivered. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 3003 vacating
<br />certain streets in the Rosedale Shopping Center at the northwest
<br />corner of Highway 36 and Snelling Avenue be adopted as recommended
<br />by the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that tile application for rezoning
<br />by R. W. Johnson Properties from B-1 and B-2 to R-3A together with
<br />the special use permit and variances to zoning at 1045 West
<br />Larpenteur Avenue be approved as recommended by the Planning Comm-
<br />ission; and that tile applicant reimburse the Village for any cost
<br />incurred in acquisition of the buildings on the property. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, tilat the application of W. Mailand
<br />for rezoning from R-l to R-3A and special use permit at 2315 North
<br />Victoria Street be approved as recommended by the Planning Commission.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that the Lyons & Kruse rezoning
<br />from R-l to R-3A and special use permit at 2300 North Lexington
<br />Avenue be continued to the meeting of June 10, 1968. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Helerud and Bentley request
<br />for rezoning and special use permit at 500 Highway 36 and 499
<br />County Road B be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Shields and /vloll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request of Roberts Construction
<br />Company for rezoning from R-I to R-3 at 1750 Marion Street be approved,
<br />subject to the dedication of 30 feet for Marion, construction of a
<br />temporary cuI de sac at the north end of Marion Street, and that
<br />Roberts comply with the drainage requirements set out in the Public
<br />Works Director's recommendations. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Linebarger Moved, Shields Seconded, that a public hearing on the
<br />Edward Bossard request for rezoning from R-l to R-6 at Cohansey
<br />Street north of County Road B be establiShed for June 10, 1968.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll.
<br />Nays: None.
