<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - July 8, 1968.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor ~lo 11. Counei Imen Cur ley i Graue 1 and
<br />Shields. Absent: Councilman Linebarger,

<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of June 24, 1968, be approvedo Roll Call, Ayes: Shields, Curley,
<br />and GraueL Abstention: Mayor MolL
<br />
<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request for special use
<br />permit by Roseville Marine at 2151 North Snelling Avenue be approved,
<br />subject to plan of the parking area to be submitted to the professional
<br />plannero Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel" Shields and ~lolL Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that tile proposed ordinance amending
<br />the Village Code to permit concrete batch plants in I-I and 1-2
<br />areas be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Shields and Curley. Nays:
<br />Grauel and Moll.

<br />Shields Moved" Grauel Seconded, that the Otto Esch request for a
<br />special use permit be laid over until August 19, 19680 Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Shields, Curley, Grauel and ~loll. Nays: None.

<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the Village Council go on record
<br />as supporting the campaign on decency in literature and motion
<br />pictures presented by Father Vavra of St, Rose of Lima Church and
<br />his group of workers; and that Resolution Noo 3025 be adoptedo Roll
<br />Call" Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Shields and MolL Nays: None.

<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the preliminary plat on the
<br />Baber Addition at Western and Oakcrest be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Shields and ~lolL Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the public hearing for
<br />Mrs. Anne Jaglowski1s relocation of a dwelling at 2025 West County
<br />Road B. be set for August S, 1968. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the division of a lot by
<br />Mrs. Anne Jaglowski at 2025 West County Road B be approved.

<br />Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that the Robert Balderson request
<br />for variance to a five foot side yard setback at 2825 Virginia
<br />Avenue be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Shields and
<br />MolL Nays: None.

<br />Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 3026 awarding
<br />bid for Improvement No. 67-39, Project Noo 1 to low bidder, Beatson
<br />& Kelly, Inc. in an amount of $52,206.63 be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Shields and Moll. Nays: None.
