<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - September 9, 1968. <br /> <br />'DIe Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and <br />Shields. Absent: None. <br /> <br />7: 30 P. M. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of <br />August 19, 1968 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />f;1INUTES <br /> <br />The Mayor opened the public hearing on Improvement P-68-25. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br />P-68-25 <br /> <br />The Manager presented the published notice and certificate of mailing. <br /> <br />The Publ ic Works Director presented the engineering report. <br /> <br />TIlose in attendance were afforded an opportunity to be heard regard- <br />ing the improvement. Those were: <br /> <br />HANS ROSACKER, 2185 North Fairview - opposed sidewalk construction <br /> <br />R. G. SCOTT, 1854 Gluek Lane - objected to assessment <br /> <br />MILTON JOHNSON, 1835 Gluek Lane - objected to assessment <br /> <br />H. ROSACKER - 2185 North Fairview - objected to sidewalk assessments <br />but will go for curb assessment <br /> <br />MRS. ROBERT MALONE, 1865 Gluek Lane - asked about sidewalk <br /> <br />BOB ~1UNDT, 1856 Gluek Lane - questioned maintenance of sidewalks <br /> <br />ROBERT MALONE, 1865 Gluek Lane - asked about liability for sidewalk <br />maintenance <br /> <br />R. G. SCOTT, 1854 Gluek Lane - asked about sidewalk <br /> <br />DR. St~REK, 1862 Gluek Lane, opposed sidewalk - asked about slope <br />easements <br /> <br />After discussion of the views presented the Mayor closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 3075 ordering <br />Improvement P-68-25 on Fairview Avenue from County Road B to Highway <br />36 be adopted; and that sidewalk on the west portion of Fairview <br />Avenue be deleted, if possible. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 3075 <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that final approval be given <br />to \\lillmus Roseville Terrace #11 final plat and that the Mayor and <br />Manager be authorized to sign it. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />FINAL PLAT <br />ROSEVILLE <br />TERRACE #11 <br /> <br />Linebarger Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the petition of Dale Calendar <br />for vacation of south half of Laurie Road, east of Haddington Road, be <br />denied.
