<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - September 30, 1968. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and <br />Shields. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of <br />September 16, 1968, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None - Abstentions: Shields. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the request of Steve Zeece, <br />L-Z Company, 1881 Rice Street, for withdrawal of his rezoning be <br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and <br />Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the Northern States Power <br />Company plan for Rose Place sub-station be approved and that the bond <br />be waived. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and <br />Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Shields Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Village Manager's letter <br />and report to the Council be sent to Mr. Robert A. Dufault regarding <br />utilities policies. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, <br />Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that Resolution No. 4008 calling <br />for a feasibility report on a water main improvement on Hamline <br />Avenue from Larpenteur to Garden Avenues be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 4009 authorizing <br />the Mayor and Manager to sign a petition to improve Ramsey County <br />Ditch No.4 be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, t,rauel, Linebarger, <br />Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Shields Seconded, that Resolution No. 4010 adopting <br />the 1969 Budget be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, <br />Linebarger, Shields and Moll. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Moll made the following proclamation: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, industrial development plays an important part in the <br />life of a municipality through provision of jobs and <br />assistance in defraying the cost of government and education; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, Roseville has been singularly fortunate in attracting <br />outstanding industrial firms to locate within its corporate <br />limi ts ; <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, the Roseville Chamber of Commerce has undertaken a <br />recognition in the importance of the industrial development <br />in the 1i fe of the communi ty through its II Sal ute to I ndus try <br />Week" from September 30 to October 5, 1968; <br /> <br />NOW, TIlEREFORE, I, A.
