<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF ~1EETING OF TIlE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />HELD - OCTOBER 8, 1969 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village <br />Hall in said Village on II 1., the 8th day of October. 1969, at 7:30 o'clock <br />P.~f. Wednesday <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll. Councilmen Curley. <br />Grauel. Linebarger and Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were: Burke M. Raymond, Village Manager; Joseph M. <br />Sills, Assistant Village ~fanager; Sherman Goldberg, Public Works Director; <br />Roger Short of Banister Engineering Company. <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of notice <br />of hearing on the proposed assessment for Improvement No. ST-P-67-28 <br />in the Roseville Suburban Sun on September 24. 1969, whICh a~tidavlt was <br />examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Manager also <br />exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property <br />owners. <br /> <br />The ~fayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of <br />objections, if any, to said proposed assessment. All persons present were then <br />given an opportunity to present oral objections, and all written objections <br />theretofore filed with the Village Manager were presented and considered, and <br />all such objections were tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />Name <br />- <br /> <br />Property Nature of Objections <br /> <br />r'lr. Ted Goldberg <br /> <br />1405 W. County Road B-2 Stated he was under the <br />impression that the Dayton <br />Development Corporation <br />was to assume all costs of <br />this improvement including <br />both street and storm sewer <br />construction. He further <br />indicated that he felt the <br />minutes of the improvement <br />hearing for this project wou. <br />indicate this fact. <br /> <br />Mr. Harold McCarthy <br /> <br />1425 W. County Road B-2 Was in agreement about the <br />Dayton Development Corpor- <br />ation assuming all costs of <br />this improvement and felt he <br />should not be assessed for <br />the storm sewer installation <br /> <br />Mr. Clarence Stromer <br /> <br />1365 W. County Road B-2 Had a question on the street <br />assessments for the constru- <br /> <br />ction of B <br />-2. <br />
