<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, IW1SEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />HELD - OCTOBER 8, 1969 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the Village <br />Hall in said Village o~~~ the 8th day of October, 1969, at 7:30 o'clock <br />p .~f. e nes y <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, <br />Grauel, Linebarger and Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Also in attendance were: Burke M. Raymond, Village Manageri Joseph M. <br />Sills, Assistant Village Manager; Sherman Goldberg, Public Works Director; <br />Roger Short of Banister Engineering Company. <br /> <br />The Village Manager presented an affidavit showing publication of notice <br />of hearing on the proposed assessment for Improvement No. ST-68-35 <br />in the Roseville Suburban Sun on September 24, 1~6~, whiCh aftldavlt was <br />examined, found satisfactory and ordered placed on file. The Manager also <br />exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property <br />owners. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced that the meeting was open for the consideration of <br />objections, if any, to said proposed assessment. All persons present were then <br />given an opportunity to present oral objections, and all written objections <br />theretofore filed with the Village Manager were presented and considered, and <br />all such objections were tabulated as follows: <br /> <br />Name <br />- <br /> <br />Property Nature of Objections <br /> <br />r.lr. Joseph CrO\\lther <br /> <br />2417 Western Avenue He indicated that the sewer <br />does not extend down to his <br />property, therefore, \\lhy <br />should he have to pay for an <br />assessment? <br /> <br />Mr. Holman Smith, representing Roseville <br />Baptist Church <br /> <br />Indicated he felt there was <br />en error in the assessment <br />against the church property <br />and wondered if this had been <br />corrected in the final <br />tabul ation. <br />
