VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE

Special Meeting of the Village Council - October 13, 1969.
Meeting of tile Village Council continued from October 8, 1969.

8:30 P.M.

TIle Village Council met on the above date with the following
members present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Grauel, Linebarger, Anderson
and Curley.

The following list of objections and corresponding recommendations
on tile proposed assessments were considered by the Council.

ASSE SSMENT
HEARING

Project ST-68-12
v .

Objection: Mr. Ralph Charboneau, 2185 Bossard Drive, objected to
assessment at this time because the sewer ended at Cohansey
Boulevard and the other property along County Road Band
Irene Street are also contributing water, but not being
assessed at this time.

Recommendation: Delete from this project $200 assessment for the
following:
1. Ralph Charboneau, 2185 Bossard Drive (Ed Bossard
Addition Plat 3, Lot 5, Block 4)
2. S. G. Plagens, 2177 Bossard Drive (Ed Bossard
Addition, Plat 3, Lot 5, Block 4
3. H. Warren Bahr, 2169 Bossard Drive (Ed Bossard
Addition Plat 3, Lot 7, Block 4)

Note: These properties will be assessed at a later date when County Road
B is improved and storm sewers are extended east of Cohansey Boulevard.

Project ST-68-35

Objection: Joseph F. Crowther, 2417 Western Avenue. His objection was that
there is no sewer in front of his horne, so why does he have to
pay assessment?

Recommendation: The drainage along Western Avenue from County Road B-2
to Transit Avenue is picked up at Transit. This is a distance
of approximately 700 feet. When Western Avenue is improved, it
is doubtful whether additional storm sewer will be needed along
Western Avenue between Transit Avenue and County Road B-2.
Therefore, it is our recommendation that the properties along
Western Avenue be included in the assessment roll as proposed.

Objection: Roseville Baptist Church, 211 West County Road B-2, represented
by Olin Smith. Error made in calculating acreage to be assessed.
The roll shows amount to be assessed at $6,559.00.

Recommendation: The amount to be assessed should be $2,842.00.

Project ST.-68-,24

Ob jection: Thomas Powell, 2240 North Hamline Avenue, stated that they never
had a drainage problem so why is storm sewer necessary?

Recommendation: Assessment should stand as shown - $200.00.
