<br />Regular ~eting of the Village Council M October 4, 1971.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and
<br />Linebargero Absent: Mayor Moll.
<br />
<br />Curley Hoved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of September 27, 1971, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel and Linebarger. Nays: None. Abstentions: Anderson.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Anderson Seconded, that on Improvement 69M30, the
<br />Village acquire utility easements on Parcels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 ,
<br />11, 12 and 13, for the amounts set forth in the Village
<br />AttorneyU s letter of September 27, 1971g and that the Mayor and
<br />Manager sign earnest money contracts authorizing said purchases.

<br />Grauel Moved, Anderson Seconded, that Contractor's Estimate
<br />No. 2 be paid to Northdale Construction Company in the amount
<br />of $114 ~~8,41 on Projects ST 68Ml4 and 69M30. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: ~urley, Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel ~1oved, Curley Seconded, that Ordinance No. 655 prohibiting
<br />the possession of narcotic drugs be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger. Nays: None.

<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution Noo 5755 request-
<br />ing the Minnesota Highway ~partment to take action to improve
<br />the safety of the intersection of Lydia and Snelling Avenues be
<br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the application by Emil
<br />Cedarholm for a variance to the front yard setback at 367 South
<br />Owasso Boulevard be referred to the Planning Commission for re-
<br />commendation. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Anderson and
<br />Linebarger 0 Nays:' None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the application submitted
<br />by Richard Knutson for special use permit for a serVice station'
<br />at 2151 North Snelling Avenue be referred to the Planning
<br />Commission for recommendat-ian. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger. Nays: None.

<br />Anderson Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the licenses be approved.
