The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des-

cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the

proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed

therefor, as stated in the published notice of hearing.

After reading of the notice, all persons present were

afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses

of the persons appearing and. heard by the Council, and the

substance of the views presented by them were as follows:

MR. CHARLES OLSON, 1886 West Shryer, representing
Corpus Christi Church: Discussed the assessments and said
the church doesn't have that much money. He felt the
improvement was primarily to benefit the school while the
church doesn't want it. Asked how much they would be paid
for right of way acquisition.

MR. RAYMOND, Village Manager, suggested that the church
might consider platting a row of lots.

MR. WILLIAM DAVERN, 1860 W. Shryer: Question about
assessments.

MR. ROBERT MALONE, 1865 Gluek Lane: Question about
assessments.

There being no further discussion, the Mayor closed the
hearing. Councilman Anderson moved, seconded by Councilman
Grauel that the matter be continued to the April 30, 1973
meeting of the Council at 7:30 o'clock p.m. All in favor.
