<br />The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the des- <br /> <br />cription of the general nature and estimated cost of the <br /> <br />proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed <br /> <br />therefor, as stated in the published notice of hearing. <br /> <br />After reading of the notice, all persons present were <br /> <br />afforded opportunity to be heard, and the names and addresses <br /> <br />of the persons appearing and. heard by the Council, and the <br /> <br />substance of the views presented by them were as follows: <br /> <br />MR. CHARLES OLSON, 1886 West Shryer, representing <br />Corpus Christi Church: Discussed the assessments and said <br />the church doesn't have that much money. He felt the <br />improvement was primarily to benefit the school while the <br />church doesn't want it. Asked how much they would be paid <br />for right of way acquisition. <br /> <br />MR. RAYMOND, Village Manager, suggested that the church <br />might consider platting a row of lots. <br /> <br />MR. WILLIAM DAVERN, 1860 W. Shryer: Question about <br />assessments. <br /> <br />MR. ROBERT MALONE, 1865 Gluek Lane: Question about <br />assessments. <br /> <br />There being no further discussion, the Mayor closed the <br />hearing. Councilman Anderson moved, seconded by Councilman <br />Grauel that the matter be continued to the April 30, 1973 <br />meeting of the Council at 7:30 o'clock p.m. All in favor. <br />
