<br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - May 21, 1973. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Acting Mayor Curley, Councilmen Anderson, <br />Brennan and Grauel. Absent: Mayor Linebarger. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Thomas Curley read the following proclamation <br />regarding Roseville's 25th Anniversary. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the year nineteen hundred seventy-three marks <br />the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Village of <br />Roseville, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the people of Roseville have in those twenty-five <br />years established the traditions of active citizen <br />involvement, of good schools, of well-supported <br />churches, of an enlightened business community, of <br />effective and responsive government, and of active <br />civic groups, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, that same civic spirit and enthusiasm have brought <br />together all the community interests in the planning <br />for events appropriate to the grand Silver Anniversary <br />Celebration, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village <br />of Roseville that the days of May 31 through June 3, <br />1973, are hereby officially proclaimed as the <br />Twenty-fifth Anniversary Days of the Village of <br />Roseville. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all Roseville Residents and <br />Friends are hereby encouraged to attend and participate <br />in the Celebrations. <br /> <br />Anderson Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting <br />of May 14, 1973, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Brennan, <br />Grauel and Curley. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the bid for park shelter at <br />Sandcastle Park be rejected. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Brennan, <br />Grauel and Curley. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the preliminary plat of <br />"Horton Lakeshores", 625 Heinel Drive be approved as amended and <br />that the property which is in the process of being acquired by the <br />Village for ponding purposes be designated as Outlot A. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Anderson, Brennan, Grauel and Curley. Nays: None" <br /> <br />Anderson Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the final plat of Cal Garley's <br />"Parkview Terrace" at 2690 North Oxford Street be approved, subject <br />to an agreement being prepared by the Village Attorney. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Anderson, Brennan, Grauel and Onley.
