<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - December 17, 1973.
<br />
<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Grauel, Anderson,
<br />Brennan and Curley.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of December 10, 1973, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel,
<br />Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the bids received for a
<br />playform structure at Howard Johnson Memorial Park be rejected
<br />as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Committee in their
<br />memo dated December 13, 1973. Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel, Anderson,
<br />Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays: None.

<br />Anderson MOved, Brennan Seconded, that the request regarding
<br />"For Rent" signs on Ban-Con, Inc. buildings at Hillsborough
<br />Office Building #2 that Ban-Con be informed to comply with the
<br />ordinance or make a formal request for variance. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Grauel, Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, to approve the Kath Bros. pro-
<br />posal which showed the commercial buildings facing Rice and County
<br />Road B-2. Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel and Curley. Nays: Anderson,
<br />Brennan and Linebarger.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the request of Kath Bros.
<br />regarding placement of buildings on property at County Road B-2
<br />and Rice Street be continued until January 7, 1974, and that the
<br />affected property owners be notified of the informal hearing. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Grauel, Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Anderson Seconded, that Change Order No.7, Improvement
<br />SS-70-ll, W-70-l2 and P-70-l3 be approved and the Manager and Public
<br />Works Director authorized to sign it. Roll Call, Ayes: Grauel,
<br />Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the special use permit
<br />granted Northern States Power Company on transmission lines be
<br />amended by voiding Sections 5 C through F and replacing them with
<br />new section C to underground line on Hamline from County Road C
<br />to Roselawn. The work to be completed by December 1, 1974. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Grauel, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />Abstention: Anderson, as he is an employee of Northern States
<br />Power Company.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that Resolution No. 6055 regarding
<br />reapportionment of assessments be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Grauel, Anderson, Brennan, Curley and Linebarger. Nays: None.
