<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - Jillluary 21, 1974.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Brennan, Curley,
<br />D(jmos and Hess.
<br />
<br />7:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of January 21, 1974, be approved, Roll Call, Ayes: Brennan,
<br />Curley, Demos, Hess and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Hess Seconded, that Floyd LeCuyer, Jr. be approved
<br />as a regular member of the Fire Department and Ronald C. Sager as
<br />a probationary member; and that the following officers elected by
<br />the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department be approved:
<br />Chief - Floyd LeCuyer, Sr.
<br />Deputy Chief - Jack Schmidt
<br />Deputy Chief - Myron MCMaster
<br />Secretary - James Bodsgard
<br />Treasurer - Larry Braun

<br />Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that the request of Northern States
<br />Power Company for a gas rate increase be referred to the Minnesota
<br />Gas Regulatory Authority and that the letter concerning the
<br />electrical rate increase dated January 18, 1974, be placed on file.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Brennan, Curley, Demos, Hess and Linebarger.

<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that Resolution No. 6062
<br />requesting technical assistance from Minnesota Highway Depart-
<br />ment in 1974 be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Brennan, Curley,
<br />Demos, Hess and Linebarger, Nays: None.

<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the Mayor and Manager be
<br />authorized to sign a contract with Banister Short Elliott
<br />Hendrickson and Associates for general engineering in 1974.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Brennan, Curley, Demos, Hess and Linebarger.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that Resolution No, 6063 cancelling
<br />remaining installments on various parcels of property acquired by
<br />the City be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Brennan, Curley, Demos,
<br />Hess and Linebarger. Nays: None.

<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that an adjustment of special
<br />assessments for 1014 County Road C-2 be made as requested by the
<br />Public Works Director in his memo dated January 18, 1974. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Brennan, Curley, Demos, Hess and Linebarger. Nays:
<br />None.
