<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - April 29, 1974.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Hess, Brennan,
<br />Curley and Demos.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of April 15, 1974, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Brennan,
<br />Curley, Demos and Linebarger. Nays: None 0
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Demos Seconded, that the week of May 4 through
<br />May 11, be proclaimed Clean-up Fix-up Week in the City of
<br />RosevilIe, Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Brennan, Curley, Demos and
<br />Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Demos MOved, Hess Seconded, that the request of Shafer Contract-
<br />ing Company for special use permit at 644, 646 and 656 County Road
<br />C be denied. Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Brennan, Curley, Demos and
<br />Linebarger, Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Demos Seconded, that the Manager be authorized
<br />to obtain an appraisal of the property located at 634, 644, 646
<br />and 656 County Road C. Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Brennan, Curley,
<br />Demos and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that the Mayor be authorized to
<br />sign the Project Proposal from Mr. Robert C. Bell regarding the
<br />planting of 500 seedling trees in Central Park. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Hess, Brennan, Curley, Demos and Linebarger. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the Roseville Jaycees
<br />be permitted to operate a carnival June 4-9, 1974, on Dayton
<br />Hudson property as requested in the letter from David Kill dated
<br />April 18, 1974, Roll Call, Ayes: Hess, Brennan, Curley, Demos
<br />and Linebarger, Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the Margolis Brothers Co,
<br />be granted a temporary permit of six months to grow nursery stock
<br />at 295 Larpenteur Avenue with the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1) that the property to be used be limited to a rectangle
<br />running a distance of 400 feet north from Larpenteur Avenue
<br />and 100 feet east from the west property line;
<br />
<br />2) that a fence may be constructed around the property to be
<br />used;
<br />
<br />3) that no buildings be permitted on the property except for
<br />one small mobile office;
<br />
<br />4) that no retail sales shall be permitted.
