oral objections, and all written objections theretofore filed

with the city Manager were presented and considered, and all ~uch

objections were tabulated as follows: Written communications were
received from the following:

Pastor Melvin L. Hall, Rose Hill Alliance Church, 2105 Roselawn
Avenue West, Roseville: The church has been assessed $l600 for two
acres of land and has also been assessed $1600 for .51 of an acre
of the pond they own. Since there has been more water in the pond
after installation of the storm sewer and since the city of Roseville
is using that area as a ponding area, they ask that the assessment
against the .51 acre where the pond is located be cancelled.

Pastor Melvin L. Hall, Rose Hill Alliance Church, 2105 Roselawn
Avenue West, Roseville: The Executive Board of the church will re-
commend for congregational approval the issuance of a perpetual ease-
ment for ponding, with the understanding that the City cancel their
assessment against the .51 acre which they own of the pond.

Mrs. Mary Lou Nicholls, 2160 Draper: Has been assessed for
two lots but said the house was built and the property landscaped
as one lot. Thinks the assessment should be for only one lot.

Oral presentations were made by the following:

Dr. Wenzel, President of Midland Hills Country Club: The club
is 'being assessed approximately $ 26,900 for over 30 acres. Asked if
they might have the time to have a survey made to see how many actual
acres of their land are considered to be draining where the storm
sewer is necessary. Mr. Converse explained that they would have 30
days in which to appeal to the Court if they do not agree with the
city assessment, which time should be ample for them to have a survey
made.

Mr. Walter H. Mund, general manager, Midland Hills Country Club:
Said he doubts very much that there are 30 acres of land being drained.
In previous discussions with the office of the city consulting en-
gineers they had been talking in terms of 20 acres.

Mrs. Gertrude Hadammek, 1927 Rosedale Drive: Said they had put
the road in some time ago and paid for the road and the catch basins
that were installed. Doesn't feel that she should 'be assessed again.

Mr. Mack Denman, 1924 Hythe Street: Said he believes he has already
been assessed for the storm sewer at Hythe on Roselawn and asked why
he would be considered in this assessment.
