<br />CI1~ OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - October 7, 1974. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Demos, <br />Hess and Brennan, <br /> <br />~byor Linebarger made the following two proclamations: <br /> <br />1, That the week of October 27 through November 2, 1974 <br />be observed as AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK in Roseville; and <br /> <br />2. That the week of October 20 through 26, 1974 be proclaimed <br />as National Business Women's Week. <br /> <br />A-I Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of <br />September 30, 1974, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, <br />Hes s, Brennan and Linebarger. Nays: None. <br /> <br />D~ 1 Linebarger Moved and Hess Seconded, that the City Attorney be <br />instructed to prepare the following amendment to the liquor <br />ordinance: <br /> <br />1) Section 15L040(2) should provide that with the appli- <br />cation for renewal the Applicant shall file a statement <br />which shows the total gross sales and the total food <br />sales of the restaurant for the last accounting year. <br />The statement shall be subject to the approval of the <br />City Manager. <br /> <br />2) Section 151"050(2) Should provide that $500 of the on-sale <br />license fee shall be paid before the application is accepted <br />and the remaining balance shall be paid before the license <br />is issued" <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess, Brennan and Linebarger. <br /> <br />E-l Curley Moved, Demos Seconded, that a public hearing be established <br />for November 18, 1974, for Daryl Farr Development Corporation's <br />request for amended special use permit at 1650 Highway 36. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess, Brennan and Linebarger. Nays: <br />None" <br /> <br />E-2 Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that a public hearing be established <br />for November 18, 1974, for Koava Klucsar's request for rezoning <br />from R-2 to B-3 and special use permit at 2599 North Lexington <br />Avenue, Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess, Brennan and <br />Linebarger 0 Nays: None 0 <br /> <br />E-3 Demos Moved, Hess Seconded, that Fotomat Corporation's request <br />for variance to the side yard setback at 2765 North Hamline <br />Avenue be approved with the condition that the exterior of the <br />building shall utilize a brick to match the existing service <br />station, and that the Standard Fotomat yellow roof may be used. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess, Brennan and Linebarger. <br />Nays: None 0 <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />LIQUOR <br />ORDINANCE <br /> <br />DARYL FARR <br />DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORAT ION <br /> <br />YOAVA KLUCSAR <br />REZONING <br />RE~Esr <br /> <br />FOTa.1AT <br />CORPORATION <br />
