<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, February 25, 1991, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thomas, Cushman, Johnson, Maschka, <br />and Rog <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8659 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT NO. P-ST-SS-91-04 <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THEREFOR UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council adopted the fourteenth day of <br />January, 1991, fixed a date for a council hearing on the proposed <br />improvement of Terrace Drive from Fairview Avenue to Lincoln Drive with <br />the installation of bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter, storm <br />sewer, utilities, and necessary appurtenances pursuant to a petition of <br />affected property owners. <br /> <br />AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of <br />the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the twenty- <br />ninth day of January, 1991, and continued to the twenty-fifth day of <br />February, 1991, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an <br />opportunity to be heard thereon. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council <br />resolution adopted the twenty-fifth day of February, 1991. <br /> <br />2. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. is hereby designated as the <br />engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and <br />specifications for making of such improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Cushman, <br />Maschka, and Rog <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Johnson. <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
