<br />special ItEeting of August 15, 1978, be approved. Roll Call,

<br />B-1 Anderson MJved, KJehr Seconded, that Michael Jerry's request
<br />for final plat at 244 Minnesota be continued until the Council
<br />rreeting of Septenber 11, 1978. Foll Call, Ayes: Franke,

<br />C-l Kehr MJved, Franke Seconded, that a Council WOrk Session be
<br />established for Septenber 11, 1978, beginning at 7: 00 P.M. in
<br />the City Hall Council Charrbers for the purpose of reviewing
<br />the Fire Depart:rrent' s Felief Association Pension Request.

<br />0-1 Franke MJved, Kehr Seconded, that the offer fran the Veterans
<br />of Foreign Wars Post No. 7555 to install a nfM flagpole and
<br />flag at the old city' hall site be accepted with gratitude.

<br />0- 2 Franke f.bved, Anderson Seconded, that the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to prepare an ordinance arrending the city code by
<br />including a single operator beauty shop as a special use in
<br />the Rool zoning district. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Anderson,
<br />Kehr and Celros. Nays: None.

<br />E-1 Kehr lvbved, Franke Seconded, that Rodney Erickson's request
<br />for minor variance to side yard setback at 2106 Midlothian
<br />Road be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Anderson, Kehr
<br />and Derros. Nays: None.

<br />E-2 l'''ranke lvbved, Anderson Seconded, that Dennis Hirsch's request
<br />for building permit to construct a garage be approved with the
<br />condition that earth be placed around the garage with a minimum
<br />slope of 2 horizontal to 1 vertical (2: 1) and the area be sodded
<br />imrediately after construction of the building is canpleted.

<br />Works Director be authorized to sign Change Order No. 4 for Pro-
<br />ject SS-W-P-76-23 (Minnesota (Masso Fealty Carpany Plat) for the
<br />additional naterial and work required on this project because of
<br />flood danage ~u1d also to nake the new completion date as 9-15-78.
