<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of November <br />22,2004, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Thlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing <br />and the following were absent: none. <br /> <br />Member Mascl1ka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 10260 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING 2005 SCORE FUNDING GRANT <br />FOR USE IN ROSEVILLE'S RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council is committed to residential waste abatement <br />through its curbside recycling program, Clean Up Day, and Leaf Pick Up Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to improve Roseville's waste abatement programs and minimize the <br />cost to Roseville residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County has SCORE Funding Grants available for 2005; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to submit <br />a grant application to Ramsey County for a 2005 SCORE Funding Grant and that that <br />grant will be used for Roseville's waste abatement programs. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption ofthe foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member <br />Schroeder, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Ihlan, Kough, Maschka, Schroeder and Klausing and the following voted against the <br />same: none <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
