EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, RAMSEY COUNTY~ STATE OF MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ofthe City Council of the City ofRoseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on October 25, 2004. The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Ihlan, Schroeder and Klausing and the following members were absent: none. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 10255 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR CONTAMINATION INVESTIGATION AND RESPONSE ACTION PLAN DEVELOPMENT GRANT FOR THE TWIN LAKES GROUNDW A TER STUDY AREAS BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville act as the legal sponsor for project(s) contained in the Contamination Investigation and RAP Development Grant Program to be submitted on November 1, 2004 and that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Employment and Economic Development for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Roseville. BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has approved the submission of a Contamination Investigation and RAP Development grant application to in the amount of$37,500 from the Department of Employment and Economic Development on November 1,2004 by the City of Roseville for the Twin Lakes Groundwater study areas. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate project administration. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sources and amounts of the local match in the amount of $12,500 is identified and committed to the project identified. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Roseville has not violated any
