<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - March 24, 1980.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Anderson, Kehr,
<br />Franke and Curley.
<br />
<br />A-l Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />meeting of ~1arch 10, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Anderson, Kehr, Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />0-1 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the Bald Eagle Water
<br />Club's request to have a water ski course and jump on Lake
<br />Owasso be referred to the April 7, 1980, meeting of the
<br />Recreation Board for recommendation; and that the City
<br />Manager notify Roseville property owners on the lake and
<br />the Lake Owasso Association, Incorporated, about the meet-
<br />ing; further, that the City Council will consider this
<br />request at its April 14, meeting. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Anderson, Kehr, Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-l Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Gerald McShane's
<br />request for minor variance to sideyard setback at 2788
<br />Marion Street be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson,
<br />Kehr, Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-2 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Ian Shaw's request for
<br />minor variance to sideyard setback at 3111 North Churchill
<br />Street be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Kehr,
<br />Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-3 Kehr Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the Mayor and Manager
<br />be authorized to si9n an earnest money contract in the
<br />amount of $3,247.00 for the purchase of property from Roger
<br />C. and Patricia A. Stevenson. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson,
<br />Kehr, Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-4 Curley Moved, Franke Seconded, that Resolution No. 6934
<br />providing for settlement and authorizing disbursement of
<br />a draft in the amount of $1,000.00 to Audrey Sutherland
<br />and her attorney; and further authorizing certain letters
<br />to be sent. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Kehr, Franke,
<br />Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-5 Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that an extension be made
<br />on the loan to the Municipal Band to July 31, 1980, at
<br />which time $10,000.00 of City funds shall be reimbursed
<br />by the t1unicipal Band. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Kehr,
<br />Franke, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-6 Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the followinq bids be
<br />awarded for street maintenance materials: '

<br />aggregate, low bid amount of $4.49/ton.
