<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - May 12, 1980.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Franke,
<br />Curley and Anderson.
<br />
<br />A-l Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that the minutes of the regular
<br />meeting of April 28, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />A-2 Franke Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of May 7, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the Council join the
<br />Mayor in proclaiming May 28, 1980, as "Bloodmobile Day" in
<br />Roseville. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley,
<br />Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-l Curley Moved, Anderson Seconded, that Resolution No. 6948
<br />expressing appreciation for those who assisted in the control
<br />of fire at the Williams Brothers Pipeline located at 2451
<br />West County Road C, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr,
<br />Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-2 Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Robert Vickers request
<br />for minor variance to rear yard setback at 1678 Ridgewood
<br />Lane be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley,
<br />Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-3 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Ted Eastman's request for
<br />division of four lots at 170 through 202 Transit be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />E-4 Anderson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Resolution No. 6949
<br />requesting the Metropolitan Council HRA to apply for re-
<br />habilitation grant funds for the City for Year V (1980-81)
<br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley,
<br />Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-5 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the Council consider the
<br />proposed ordinance regarding registration of masseurs and
<br />masseuses at its June 9, 1980, Council meeting. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-6 Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that Ordinance No. 863 adding
<br />funeral chapels as a special use in the R-1 zoning district
<br />and adding definitions of funeral chapel and mortuary to the
<br />definition section of the zoning code be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Franke, Curley, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
