<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - July 14, 1980.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Kehr, Curley,
<br />Franke and Anderson.
<br />
<br />A-l Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of June 23, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley,
<br />Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-1 The Revenue Sharing Proposed Use Hearing was held, as
<br />officially advertised, to accept written and oral comments
<br />from citizens and community organizations. Comments on pro-
<br />posed uses included fire equipment and improvements, public
<br />works equipment and improvements, parks and recreation improve-
<br />ments, police equipment and water quality improvements.

<br />C-l Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that a Council Work Session be
<br />established for 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 21, 1980, at the
<br />Roseville City Hall for the purpose of discussing policies
<br />relating to the State condominium law, non-resident fees for
<br />Senior Citizens and industrial revenue bond financing and
<br />other policy areas deemed appropriate by the Council. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley, Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />E-2 Anderson Moved, Curley Seconded, that Cicero's request for a
<br />temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for a period of
<br />24 hours beginning at 12:00 noon, September 27, 1980, for the
<br />Roseville Central Park Foundation Ball at the Har Mar Shopping
<br />Center be approved, as authorized by Minnesota Laws 1978,
<br />Chapter 116, subject to providing the necessary insurance certi-
<br />ficate, and as approved by the City Attorney. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Curley, Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-3 Curley Moved, Franke Seconded, that the Mayor and Manager be
<br />authorized to make application for maxi audit grants in the
<br />total amount of $7,428 from the Minnesota Energy Agency and
<br />the U. S. Department of Energy. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley,
<br />Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-4 Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that the City Manager be authorized
<br />to notify the City of Falcon Heights that the City of Rosevi11e
<br />has no comments on their proposed Comprehensive Plan. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Curley, Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-5 Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that the Mayor and Manager be
<br />authorized to sign the first amendment to the Joint and Co-
<br />operative Agreement between the City of Roseville and Suburban
<br />Police Recruitment System. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Curley,
<br />Franke, Anderson and Demos. Nays: None.
