2

MR. POPOVICH: The total published cost is $43,430.93, but
it worked out to be $43,318.66, a slight discrepancy downward.
$10,829.22 of that will be assessed and it's on the basis that
where reconstruction of streets is done, the City only assesses
25% which is $9.27 a front foot. If it were 100% assessed it
would be $37.08 a foot. The assessments will be spread over
20 years with the usual carrying charge and the right to prepay.

There were no written communications.

Mayor Demos announced that the meeting was open for the
consideration of objections, if any, to said proposed assessment.
All persons present were given the opportunity to present oral
objections.

No one appeared to be heard.

Mayor Demos declared the hearing closed, and Councilman
Anderson moved that the adoption of the proposed assessment be
continued to September 8, 1980 at 7:30 o'clock p. m. The
motion was seconded by Councilman Kehr and the following voted in favor
thereof: AlIi and the following voted against: None. The motion
carried.
