<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council, December 22, 1980.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Franke, Kehr and
<br />Curley.
<br />
<br />A-l Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of December 8, 1980, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke,
<br />Kehr and Curley. Nays: None. Abstention: Mayor Demos, as
<br />she was absent from the meeting.
<br />
<br />B-1 Franke Moved, Curley Seconded, that Alex Minich's request
<br />for rezoning from B-1 to R-3A, variance to density and
<br />parking requirements and permission to construct efficiency
<br />units at 2980 North Snelling Avenue be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Ordinance No. 872
<br />amending the City Code of the City of Roseville by rezon-
<br />ing the property at 2980 North Snelling from B-1 to R-3A
<br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley and
<br />Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-l Franke Moved, Curley Seconded, that Vern Johnson, 1707 Lydia
<br />Avenue, be appointed to the remaining term of the vacant
<br />Council position which expires on December 31, 1983, and
<br />such appointment to be effective January 1, 1981. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />C-2 Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that Jonathan Bentley and
<br />Hortense O'Neill be appointed to the Human Rights Commission
<br />and Archie Eaqles and Jean Weston to the Parks and Recreation
<br />Board, all for three year terms expiring March 31, 1984.

<br />None.

<br />Kehr r.loved, Franke Seconded, that appl i cat ions wi 11 be
<br />accepted through February 27,1981, to fill two vacancies
<br />on the Planning Commission and two vacancies on the Human
<br />Rights Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-3 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Patrick J. Gorman,
<br />1891 Aglen Street, be appointed to the Roseville Police
<br />Civil Service Commission effective January 1, 1981, for
<br />a three year term ending December 31, 1983. Roll Ca 11 ,
<br />Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-4 Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that a Council Work Session
<br />be established for 6:00 P.M., Monday, January 12, 1981,
<br />for the purpose of discussing Council Standing Rules of
<br />Procedures and liaison appointments. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Franke, Kehr, Curley and Demos. Nays: None.
