<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council, March 23, 1981.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Demos, Councilmen Curley, Johnson
<br />and Kehr. Absent: Councilperson Franke.
<br />
<br />A-l Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of March 9, 1981, be approved. Ro 11 Call, Ayes: Curl ey,
<br />Kehr and Demos. Nays: None. Abstention: Johnson, because
<br />he was absent from the meeting.
<br />
<br />Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that the Council join with the
<br />Mayor in proclaiming "June, 1981 as Parks and Recreation
<br />Month in the City of Roseville". Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-1 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Gordon Pitt, dba Ciceros
<br />application for on-sale and special Sunday liquor licenses
<br />at 2100 North Snelling Avenue be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />B-2 Curley ~1oved, Kehr Seconded, that Ordinance No. 878 amending
<br />the City Code of the City of Roseville by providing miscell-
<br />aneous amendments be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the proposed ordinance
<br />regarding the use of newspaper tubes be referred back to the
<br />Planning Commission for further review and recommendation.

<br />None.

<br />C-l Curley Moved, Johnson Seconded, that the Council work session
<br />scheduled for April 13, be rescheduled for April 20, beginning
<br />at 4:00 P.M. in the Roseville City Hall. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-2 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Robert Matson, 2774 Dellwood
<br />Street, and James Moeller, 2825 Aglen Street, be appointed to
<br />four year terms on the Roseville Planning Commission to begin
<br />April 1, 1981 and end March 31, 1985. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Thelma McKenzie, 2855
<br />Matilda Street, Edythe Nackerud, 1380 Terrace Drive, #203;
<br />and DavidvBailey, 10 Mid Oaks Lane, be appointed to three
<br />year terms on the Roseville Human Rights Commission to begin
<br />Apri 1 1, 1981 and end March 31, 1984. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.
