<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - July 27~ 1981. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Mayor Demos~ Councilmen Curley~ Kehr~ <br />Johnson and Franke. <br /> <br />A-l Kehr Moved~ Curley Seconded~ that the minutes of the meeting <br />of July 13~ 1981 ~ be approved. Roll Call ~ Ayes: Cur1ey~ <br />Kehr, Johnson~ Franke and Demos. Nays: Mone. <br /> <br />B-1 Mayor Demos opened the hearing on the proposed use of federal <br />Revenue Sharing funds. It is estimated the City of Roseville <br />will receive $184~000 in Revenue Sharing funds for the 1982 <br />calendar year. In addition~ there is approximately $16~600 <br />available as a result of interest earnings on Revenue Sharing <br />funds from previous years., The following proposed uses were <br />presented to the Council: <br /> <br />Fire Department - Equipment/furnishings <br />Public Works Department - Equipment/furnishinqs/improvements <br />Park & Recreation - Equipment/furnishings/improvements <br />Police - Equipment/furnishinqs <br />Planning - Special Project Studies <br />Energy Improvements <br />Communication Systems Improvements <br />Lake Water Quality Improvements <br />System Improvements for Natural Disasters <br />Reforestation <br /> <br />t1ayor Demos closed the hearing. <br /> <br />B-2 Johnson Moved~ Franke Seconded~ that the City Attorney be <br />instructed to prepare an ordinance regulating the placement <br />of newspaper tubes on private and public properties. Roll <br />Call~ Ayes: Curley~ Kehr, Johnson, Franke and Demos. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />B-3 Johnson Moved~ Franke Seconded~ that Ordinance No. 884 <br />repealing Section ll.060~ amending Sections 14.020 (3) and <br />(4)~ adding Sections 14.035, 14.036~ 14.037 and 14.038 and <br />amending Section 14.180~ all pertaining to non-conforming <br />siqns be adopted. Roll Call ~ Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Johnson, <br />Franke and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />C-l Curley ~1oved~ Kehr Seconded~ that Resolution no. 7208 <br />rescinding Resolution No. 7191 callina for an assessment <br />hearinq on Improvement SS-W-ST-P-78-16 be adopted. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Curley~ Kehr~ Johnson~ Franke and Demos. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Curley Moved~ Kehr Seconded, that Resolution Mo. 7209 <br />reschedulino the assessment hearing date on Improvement <br />SS-W-ST-P-78-l6 to August l2~ 1981~ be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Johnson, Franke and Demos.
