properties where the trees are, is brought before you tonight.
They will be assessed over a five year period, as I recall, which
the State law provides for.

MR. POPOVICH: Mayor and members of the Council, the total
cost of this improvement is $2,451.11. It's divided over all of
the various properties that have had removal. The amounts per
property will depend on whether they have one tree or two trees,
as the case may be. Whatever it works out to, that will be
assessed over a five year period at the 8% carrying charge and
the right to prepay and save the interest.

There were no written communications.

Mayor Demos announced that the meeting was open for the con-
sideration of objections, if any, to said proposed assessment.
All persons present were given the opportunity to present oral
objections.

No one appeared to be heard.

Mayor Demos declared the hearing closed, and Councilman
Johnson moved that the adoption of the proposed assessment be con-
tinued to August 24, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The motion was
seconded by CouncilmamJFranke and the following voted in favor
thereof: All; and the following voted against the same: None.
The motion carried.

2
