<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - January 11, 1982.

<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members
<br />present: Franke, Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Absent: Johnson.
<br />
<br />7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />A-I Curley Moved, Franke Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of MINUTES
<br />December 28, 1981 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Curley,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None. Abstain: Kehr, because he was absent.
<br />
<br />B-1 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Fine Associates' request for rezoning FINE ASSOCIATES
<br />from B-1 to B-l-b, special use permit, and variance to setback at 2750
<br />Snelling Avenue Frontage Road East be approved with the condition that
<br />a traffic study be made to determine if a traffic signal is warranted
<br />at the intersection of County Road C and Snelling Avenue Frontage Road
<br />E. In the event such signal is warranted, the building permit shall
<br />not be issued unless the developer agrees to pay for a reasonable per-
<br />centage of the cost thereof. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Ordinance No. 894, rezoning the
<br />property at 2750 Snelling Avenue Frontage Road East from B-1 to B-l-b,
<br />be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley, and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-2 Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that Sam Cave's request for final plat,
<br />rezoning from R-l to R-6, and special use permit at 2496 Fairview
<br />Avenue be continued until the January 25, 1982 Council meeting.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-3 Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, that Ordinance No. 895, amending the
<br />City Code by adding Sections 5.265, 5.555 and 8.380 through 8.430,
<br />pertaining to B-4 retail office service districts be adopted. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-l Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the Council's Standing Rules of
<br />Procedure for the year 1982 be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke,
<br />Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-2 Curley Moved, Franke Seconded, that Kehr be appointed Acting Mayor
<br />for 1982. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Franke Moved, Curley Seconded, that Kehr be appointed Liaison to
<br />Planning Commission for 1982. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Kehr,
<br />Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that Franke be appointed Liaison to
<br />Parks and Recreation Board for 1982. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke,
<br />Kehr, Curley, and Demos. Nays: None.
