<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City <br />Hall on the twenty-second day of April, 1991, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, Cushman, <br />and Rog, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS NO. 8677 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1991 CONTRACT A <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office <br />of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on April 11, 1991, <br />at 2:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br /> <br />AMOUNT <br /> <br />T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. <br />Central Landscaping <br />Ashbach Construction Company <br />F. M. Frattalone <br />Alexander Construction Company <br />Valley Paving <br />Carl Bolander & Sons <br />C.S. McCrossan Construction Co. <br /> <br />$860,382.76 <br />$913,680.19 <br />$1,021,851.70 <br />$1,022,115.35 <br />$1,026,284.10 <br />$1,060,458.44 <br />$1,155,580.15 <br />$1,205,986.43 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that T. A. SChifsky and Sons of N. st. Paul, <br />Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of <br />$860,382.76; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into a contract with T. A. Schifsky and Sons for $860,382.76 in <br />the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements <br />according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br />Manager. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return <br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
