EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting on the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall on the twenty-second day of April, 1991, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Maschka, Thomas, Johnson, Cushman and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONS NO. 8679 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 1991 CONTRACT C Whereas, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were received on April 11, 1991, at 4:00 o'clock a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER AMOUNT Central Landscaping T. A. Schifsky and Sons, Inc. Ashbach Construction Company Valley Paving Alexander Construction Co. F. M. Frattalone C. S. McCrossan Construction Co. $495,692.86 $500,841.14 $556,059.95 $562,539.88 $562,957.43 $563,037.27 $654,712.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Central Landscaping, Inc. of Forest Lake, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $495,692.86.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: 1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Central Landscaping, Inc. for $495,692.86 in the name of the City of Roseville for the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the city Manager. 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed.
