<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Special Meeting of the City Council - January 17, 1983. <br /> <br />TIle City Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Franke, Johnson, Kehr, and Demos. Absent: <br />Curley. <br /> <br />B-1 Mayor Demos opened the public hearing; the purpose of which, to <br />to receive citizen comments on a proposed Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) application. The CDBG application is in- <br />tended to assist the City in carrying out its objectives in the <br />City's Redevelopment Area. The application is for funds <br />($500,000) to acquire approximately four (4) acres of land ln <br />an area immediately north of the Rosedale Shopping Center. <br /> <br />Mr. Warren Beck, potential developer of the area north of <br />Rosedale Shopping Center, reviewed the status of his develop- <br />ment plans, and was supportive of the CDBG application. <br /> <br />There being no other comments, Mayor Demos closed the hearing. <br /> <br />Kehr Moved, Franke Seconded, to instruct the City Manager to <br />submi t an application for Community Development Block Grant <br />funds to acquire approximately four (4) acres of undeveloped <br />land immediately north of Rosedale Shopping Center. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Franke, Johnson, Kehr, and Demos.
