<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Special Meeting of the City Council - April 5, 1983. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following <br />members present: Johnson, Franke, Kehr, and Demos. Members <br />absent: Curley. <br /> <br />C-l <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Franke Seconded, that a Work Session with the <br />Planning Commission be established for 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, <br />April 6, 1983, to discuss land use implications of the State <br />law concerning residential facilities for the mentally retarded. <br /> <br />E-l <br /> <br />Specialty Shopping Center Proposal In Area Immedi ately North <br />of Rosedale. One of the concerns expressed by several of the <br />property owners is that if a rezoning is approved, and the <br />options not exercised, it could thereby cause a potentially <br />adverse mix of residential and business uses. All of the <br />Council members present confirmed it has always been the <br />intent to cooperate with the property owners to develop the <br />property in the manner in which most residents were in agree- <br />ment; and the same intent would apply to any requests for <br />zoning changes and rezoning from property owners, if <br />proposed development proj ects were abandoned. <br /> <br />I-I <br /> <br />Johnson Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the meeting be adj ourned <br />at 4:00 p.m. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Franke, Kehr, and <br />Demos.
