<br />Regular Meeting of the City Council - April 25, 1983.

<br />The Ci ty Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke, and Demos.
<br />Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr Moved, Curley Seconded, that the Council join with the PROCLAMATION
<br />Mayor in proclaiming May 5, 1983 as "Prayer Day" in the City of
<br />Roseville. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />C-I Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that a Council Work Session be WORK SESSION
<br />established for 5 :00 p. m., May 4, 1983, for the purpose of
<br />reviewing the performance of the City Manager. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-l Curley Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Frank Hess' request for HESS
<br />minor variance to front and side yard setbacks at 1907
<br />Shady Beach, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr,
<br />Curley, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Johns on Seconded, that Frank Hess' request for
<br />building permit at 1907 Shady Beach, be approved as provided
<br />under the Shoreland Management Ordinance. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-2 Franke Moved, Curley Seconded, that Richard Roth's request for ROn!
<br />minor variance to front yard setback at 2062 Dale, be approved.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke, and Demos.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />E-3 Kehr Moved, Johnson Seconded, that Kaare Rosenberg's request ROSENBERG
<br />for minor variance to side yard setback at 1631 Bruce, be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-4 Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that the Joint Powers Agreement JOINT POWERS
<br />between the City of Roseville and the City of Shoreview
<br />regarding Lake Owasso water surface use, be approved and that
<br />the Mayor and City Manager be authori zed to execute the
<br />agreement. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr, Curley, Franke,
<br />and Demos. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Kehr Seconded, that Ordinance 923, amending
<br />Section 88.030 of the City Code by imposing a speed limit
<br />on Lake Owasso, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Kehr,
<br />Curley, Franke, and Demos. Nays: None.
