<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members
<br />present: Franke, Curley, Johnson, Kehr and Demos.
<br />
<br />Members absent: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Franke seconded, to establish a joint Ad Hoc
<br />Committee with the City of Arden Hills to study water surface
<br />wi ARDEN HILLS regulations on Lake Josephine and the appropriate
<br />method of dealing with lake bottom nutrients, including the calcium
<br />nitrate injection alternative, which is to be studied by the Rice
<br />Creek Watershed District. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Franke seconded, to adopt Resolution No. 7735 in
<br />support of E.P.A. Lake Improvement Projects on County Ditch Four,
<br />Oasis Pond and Lake Josephine. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Curley,
<br />Johnson, Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />E-1 Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, to approve an amendment to TANURB
<br />eliminate Condition 3-E for landscaping on Williams Pipe Line
<br />property in conjunction with the special use permit for site plan
<br />approval and variances at 2480 Fairview Avenue and the amendment of
<br />Condition 11, so that the development may be done via a retaining
<br />wall in accordance with the site plans dated April 26, 1985 rather
<br />than the original plans of December 7, 1984 and a landscaping plan
<br />reflecting this approach must be submitted for staff review.

<br />Franke moved, Demos seconded,
<br />the word "would" for "may" on
<br />retaining wall construction.

<br />Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, to approve an amendment to Condition
<br />No.7 on council action dated February II, 1985 to permit a
<br />decorative gray rock face concrete masonry strip on the back (north
<br />and east) sides of the building. Ayes: Franke, Curley, Johnson,
<br />Kehr and Demos. Nays: None.

<br />Franke moved, Johnson seconded that the meeting be adjourned at
<br />5:55 PM. Roll Call, Ayes: Franke, Curley, Johnson, Kehr and
<br />Demos. Nays: None.
