<br />E-7 Curley moved, Kehr seconded, that resolution 7742 <br />sponsoring a grant application for Parents Anonymous <br />of Minnesota and authorizing the City Manager to <br />execute the grant agreement be adopted. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-8 Kehr moved, Demos seconded, a motion that resolution <br />7743 approving Minnesota Laws 1985, Chapter 301 and <br />directing the City Manager to file the necessary <br />documents with the Secretary of State be adopted. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-9 Curley moved, Franke seconded, that the Park and <br />Recreation Board be requested to recommend a policy <br />which lists criteria for naming park and recreation <br />facilities. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Franke and <br />Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-10 Franke moved, Kehr seconded, that the mayor be <br />authorized to sign the Central Park proposal for the <br />installation of lamps around Bennett Lake. Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos. Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-11 Curley moved, Demos seconded, that ABR, Inc. 's request <br />to withdraw their application for off-sale liquor <br />license and to refund the $500 license and <br />investigation fees to Dudley and Smith be approved. <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Kehr, Franke and Demos. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />E-12 Kehr moved, Franke that the following applications be <br />referred to the July 3, 1985 Planning Commission <br />Meeting and establishing the Council Public Hearing <br />for the meeting of July 22: <br /> <br />1. Frank Haggerty's application for rezoning from R-1 <br />to R-2 and division of lot at 2218 Lexington. <br /> <br />2. Terry Huiras' application for division of lot at <br />2550 North Snelling Avenue. <br /> <br />3. Burger King Corporation's application for variance <br />to sign ordinance at 2080 County Road C. <br /> <br />4.
