<br />The City Council met on the above date with the
<br />following members present: Cushman, Kehr, Matson,
<br />and Johnson. Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of October 13, 1986 be approved. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Cushman, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None.
<br />Abstain: Kehr, because he was not present at the October
<br />13, 1986 meeting.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that Lincoln Companies
<br />request to continue their final plat at 1665 County
<br />Road C until the November 10, 1986 Council meeting be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman, Kehr, Matson,
<br />and Johnson. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Cushman moved, Matson seconded, that a Council Work
<br />Session be established immediately following the
<br />regular meeting on October 27, 1986, to consider
<br />filling the position of Mayor. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Cushman, Kehr, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that Pat Gorman be
<br />appointed to a three year term on the Police Civil
<br />Service Commission beginning January 1, 1987 and
<br />ending December 31, 1989. Roll Call, Ayes: Cush-
<br />man, Kehr, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that staff be directed
<br />to advertise for candidates to serve the remaining
<br />two years of Bob Guy's term on the Police Civil
<br />Service Commission. Roll Call, Ayes: Cushman,
<br />Kehr, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Thomas E. Camp-
<br />bell's request for side and front yard variances
<br />at 976 Transit be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Cushman, Kehr, Matson, and Johnson. Nays: None.

<br />Olson's request for minor variance at 1499

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Barbara Hunn's
<br />request for minor variance at 1316 Ruggles be
<br />approved with the following conditions:

<br />1. That the Administrative Lot Split must occur
<br />before the variances are effective.

<br />2. That the variance for the property at 1836
<br />Hamline apply only to the existing house.
