EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE * * * CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 24th day of June 1991, at 7:30 p. m. The following members were present: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog, and the following were absent: None. Member Thomas introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8688C RESOLUTION VACATING THE NORTH 15 FEET OF IONE STREET ADJACENT TO 1746 NORTH HAMLINE AVENUE WHEREAS, after two weeks published and posted notice, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not a portion of a certain street in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, it appears that by reason of changes in the use of surrounding land, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said portion of street; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates the public street over the property described as follows: The north 15 feet of lone Street lying between the east line of Hamline Ave and the east line of Lot 8 Block 2 Gottfried. The following conditions apply to this approval: 1. That the new driveway opening and driveway be built to City standards, including a 5 foot setback to the relocated lone Street right-of-way. 2. That the new driveway be designed to include a backup space allowing cars to maneuver properly and head out onto Hamline Avenue. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Johnson, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog, and the following voted against the same: None.
