Roll Call, Ayes: and Wiski. Nays: Johnson, Kehr, Matson, Cushman, None. E-2 Kehr moved that The Pool Hall, Inc. 's request for licenses for seven pool tables, sale of cigarettes, and short order food at 1895 Rice Street be denied. Motion died for lack of a second. Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that The Pool Hall, Inc. 's request for licenses for seven pool tables, sale of cigarettes, and short order food at 1895 Rice Street be approved with the following conditions: 1. That a six foot high, wood opaque fence be con- structed along the rear property line. The fence ~hall extend easterly to a point opposite the westerly edge of the buildings located on both the south and north contiguous lots. 2. That the entrance for the Pool Hall should be moved from the west side of building to the east side, and the Pool Hall shall have a separate entrance from the Phone Center. The property owner shall place signs on the entry doors clearly indicating the businesses. 3. That the parking lot entrance shall be curbed with poured concrete and striped as shown on plan dated March 9, 1987. 4. That the pool hall shall be permitted to be open from 11:00 a.m. to Midnight, seven days a week. 5. That there shall be adequate lighting on the property, and all lighting shall be shielded so that the light source is not visible to the adjacent residential properties. 6. That the parking lot area west of the most westerly point of the building shall be chained, prohibiting parking in that area from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Signs shall be placed on the chain indicating "No Parking 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m." 7. That from 7:00 p.m. to closing on Friday and Saturday, there shall be a minimum of two employees at the Pool Hall. Page 3 THE POOL HALL, INC.
