<br />Roseville City Council Minutes <br />IVlarch 9, 1987 <br /> <br />4. That the development proceed as per plans <br />dated January 28, 1987. <br /> <br />5. That staff approve final engineering and <br />landscape plans. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: <br />and Wiski. Nays: <br /> <br />Johnson, Kehr, Matson, Cushman, <br />None. <br /> <br />E-2 <br /> <br />Kehr moved that The Pool Hall, Inc. 's request for <br />licenses for seven pool tables, sale of cigarettes, <br />and short order food at 1895 Rice Street be denied. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that The Pool <br />Hall, Inc. 's request for licenses for seven pool <br />tables, sale of cigarettes, and short order food <br />at 1895 Rice Street be approved with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That a six foot high, wood opaque fence be con- <br />structed along the rear property line. The fence <br />~hall extend easterly to a point opposite the <br />westerly edge of the buildings located on both <br />the south and north contiguous lots. <br /> <br />2. That the entrance for the Pool Hall should be <br />moved from the west side of building to the east <br />side, and the Pool Hall shall have a separate <br />entrance from the Phone Center. The property <br />owner shall place signs on the entry doors <br />clearly indicating the businesses. <br /> <br />3. That the parking lot entrance shall be curbed <br />with poured concrete and striped as shown on <br />plan dated March 9, 1987. <br /> <br />4. That the pool hall shall be permitted to be open <br />from 11:00 a.m. to Midnight, seven days a week. <br /> <br />5. That there shall be adequate lighting on the <br />property, and all lighting shall be shielded so <br />that the light source is not visible to the <br />adjacent residential properties. <br /> <br />6. That the parking lot area west of the most <br />westerly point of the building shall be chained, <br />prohibiting parking in that area from 6:00 p.m. <br />to 6:00 a.m. Signs shall be placed on the chain <br />indicating "No Parking 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m." <br /> <br />7. That from 7:00 p.m. to closing on Friday and <br />Saturday, there shall be a minimum of two <br />employees at the Pool Hall. <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />THE POOL HALL, <br />INC. <br />
