<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the City Council - November 9, 1987. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL <br />members present: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and wiski. <br />Members absent: None. <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Cushman seconded, that the minutes of <br />regular meeting of October 26, 1987, be approved. <br />Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, and Wiski. Nays: <br />Abstain: Matson, because he was absent from the <br /> <br />the <br />Roll Call, <br />None. <br />meeting. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that the minutes of the special <br />meeting of November 4, 1987, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and Wiski. Nays: None. Abstain: <br />Johnson, because he was absent from the meeting. <br /> <br />B-1 Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Gerald Kaufhold's <br />request for Comprehensive Plan at 1130 County Road B <br />be denied based on the following six findings of fact: <br /> <br />GERALD <br />KAUFHOLD <br /> <br />1. That the size and intensity of the rezoning request <br />is not consistent with the Lexington area, partic- <br />ularly as it relates to the proposed B-3 use. <br /> <br />2. That the proposal conflicts with the City policy <br />to discourage commercial strip development on <br />Lexington. <br /> <br />3. That the City has sought to protect and preserve <br />R-1 zoning where it is currently in place. <br /> <br />4. That the adjacent areas to the south are zoned R-1. <br /> <br />5. That the planned amendment and rezoning are incon- <br />sistent with the current land used in the area. <br /> <br />6. That the rezoning is inconsistent with the Compre- <br />hensive Plan. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and <br />wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Gerald Kaufhold's <br />request for rezoning at 1130 County Road B be denied, <br />based on the fact that the rezoning is inconsistent <br />with the Comprehensive Plan. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, <br />Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Wiski. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that Gerald Kauf- <br />hold's request for preliminary plat at 1130 County <br />Road B be denied, based on the fact that the proposed <br />use is inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and Wiski. <br />Nays: None. <br />
