<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Short, Elliott,
<br />Hendrickson be authorized to prepare specifications
<br />for a new built-up roof for Fire station No.1, at a
<br />maximum cost of $1,800.00, to be funded from the
<br />Contingency Account. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson,
<br />Matson, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Kehr seconded, that the North Suburban
<br />Youth Association's request for a One Day Off-site
<br />Lawful Gambling License at 1114 Woodhill Drive be
<br />approved, and the sixty day waiting period waived.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Cushman, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None. Abstain: Matson, because he is
<br />Executive Director of the North Suburban Youth
<br />Association.

<br />Kehr moved, Matson seconded, that a Class "A" gambling
<br />license for Mary, Mother of Mercy and Good Hope
<br />Shelter, Inc., at 2555 N. Snelling Avenue be approved,
<br />and the sixty day waiting period waived. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Kehr, Matson, and Rog. Nays: Johnson and
<br />Cushman.

<br />Agenda, Items F-1 through F-9, be approved. Roll

<br />F- 1 Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that the following
<br />items be referred to the October 5, 1988 Planning
<br />Commission meeting, and establishing a City Council
<br />Public Hearing for October 10, 1988:

<br />1. Gerald Kaufhold request for Comprehensive Plan
<br />Amendment and Preliminary Plat at 1130 West
<br />County Road B.
<br />
<br />2. Frank Rekuski request for a setback variance at
<br />1225 Josephine Road.
<br />
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Johnson, Matson, Cushman, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.

<br />F- 2 Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that the following
<br />items be referred to the October 12, 1988 Planning
<br />Commission meeting, and establishing a City Council
