<br />Regular meeting of the City Council - October 24, 1988.

<br />The city Council met at the Roseville Area High School in ROLL CALL
<br />the Cafeteria on the above date with the following members
<br />present: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Members
<br />absent: None.
<br />
<br />Mr. Al Payne, President of the Minnesota Ice Arena Managers' PRESENTATION
<br />Association, presented the James Padgett Memorial Award to
<br />the City of Roseville for achievement in excellence in ice
<br />arena management and operations.
<br />
<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the minutes of the regular MINUTES
<br />meeting of October 10, 1988 be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that Gregory Bild's
<br />request for a Special Use Permit for a family billiard
<br />and video entertainment center, at 2819 North Hamline
<br />Avenue, be continued to the November 14, 1988 regular
<br />City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cush-
<br />man, Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Rog moved, Johnson seconded, that Brutger Companies
<br />request for a Comprehensive Plan change from School
<br />to High Density Residential and Low Density Residen-
<br />tial, rezoning from R-1 to R-3A, Special Use Permit
<br />for a Planned Unit Development, and a preliminary
<br />plat at 2400 North Dale Street, be continued to the
<br />January 9, 1989 regular City Council meeting. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, and Rog. Nays:
<br />Kehr.

<br />John Paul Martin, of Petersen, Tews & squires, James
<br />Andre's attorney, appeared before the Council
<br />requesting a detailed statement of charges against
<br />Mr. Andre.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that Brutger
<br />Companies, Inc. Environmental Worksheet (EAW) for the
<br />project on the Concordia School site at 2400 North
<br />Dale Street, be continued to the January 9, 1989
<br />regular City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: John-
<br />son, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that an Amendment to
<br />Tax Increment District No. 10, to include Concordia
<br />Academy site at 2400 North Dale Street, be continued
<br />to the January 9, 1989 regular City Council meeting.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Matson seconded, that authorization to
<br />enter into a Development Agreement with Brutger
<br />Companies be continued to the January 9, 1989 regular
<br />City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson,
<br />Cushman, Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: None.
