<br />Regular meeting of the City Council - November 28, 1988.

<br />7:30 P.M.
<br />
<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman and Rog.
<br />Members absent: None.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br />
<br />Chuck Wiger, Metropolitan Council Member, reviewed the
<br />results of the Lake McCarrons water quality project with
<br />the council.

<br />LAKE MCCARRONS
<br />
<br />Cushman moved, Kehr seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of November 14, 1988 be approved with the
<br />following amendment:

<br />MINUTES
<br />
<br />Item B-6 "Dove Development" should be continued to
<br />December 12, 1988 instead of November 28, 1988.
<br />
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson, Kehr, Cushman and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />B-1 Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that Gregory Bild's GREGORY
<br />request for a special use permit for a family BILD
<br />billiard and video center at 2819 North Hamline Avenue
<br />be continued to the December 12, 1988, regular city
<br />Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson,
<br />Kehr, Cushman and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />E-l Cushman moved, Matson seconded that Frank Rekuski's FRANK
<br />request for a variance at 1225 Josephine Road be REKUSKI
<br />continued to the December 12, 1988, regular city
<br />Council meeting with final action to be taken at that
<br />meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Johnson, Kehr,
<br />Cushman and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />E-2 Kehr moved, Matson seconded that the City Attorney be CITY MANAGER
<br />instructed to seek an opinion from the Attorney COMPENSATION
<br />General regarding vacation compensation for Jim Andre.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Matson, Kehr, and Rog. Nays: Johnson,
<br />and Cushman.

<br />E-3 Kehr moved, Johnson seconded that Tony starr's request TONY STARR
<br />for a shoreline building permit and variance at 2986
<br />Owasso Boulevard be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson,
<br />Johnson, Kehr, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />E-4 Matson moved, Kehr seconded that the staff be WORK SESSION
<br />authorized to request proposals from Executive Search
<br />firms for the recruitment of a City Manager and that a
<br />Council work session be established for Monday, December
<br />12, 1988 at 4:30p.m. in the city Hall for the purpose of
<br />conducting interviews of Executive Search firms.
