<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly <br />held in the City Hall at 2660 civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, <br />on Monday, the twenty-second day of July, 1991, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Thomas, Maschka, Johnson, <br />and Rog and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8695 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY <br />TO RESTRICT PARKING ALONG A PORTION OF HAMLINE AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has planned the improvement of Hamline Avenue <br />from Larpenteur Avenue to County Road B; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County will be expending County State Aid Highway funds <br />(S.A.P. 62-650-04) on the improvement of said street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said improvement does not conform to the approved minimum <br />standards as previously adopted for such County State Aid streets and <br />that approval of the proposed construction as a County State Aid street <br />project must, therefore, be conditioned upon certain parking <br />restrictions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the extent of these restrictions, that would be a necessary <br />prerequisite to the approval of this construction as a County state Aid <br />project in the city, has been determined. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City requests the County <br />to restrict the parking of motor vehicles on the east side of Hamline <br />Avenue from Larpenteur Avenue to County Road B. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Thomas and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Thomas, and Johnson <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: Maschka and Rog. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
