Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that the North Subur- ban Youth Association's request for renewal of a Class B gambling license at 2540 Cleveland Avenue North (Roseville Holiday Inn) be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays: None. Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the North Subur- ban Youth Association's request for a Class B gambling license at the Ground Round Restaurant, 2100 N. Snelling Avenue, be approved and the sixty day waiting period be waived. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: Maschka and Thomas. ITEMS REMOVED FROM CONSENT AGENDA (OPTIONAL) Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that Resolution 8573, denying Adel Alwan's application for license to operate an amusement place, five amusement devices, game room, and two pool tables at 2180 North Dale Street due to the following findings of fact, be adopted: 1. That the proposed use is not compatible with the school located directly across from the facility. 2. That the proposed use would have an adverse effect on the surrounding residential area. 3. That parking is inadequate for the facility. Roll Call, Ayes: and Rog. Nays: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, None. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS H-1 Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that Ordinance 1075, ORDINANCE adding Chapter 170 to the City Code of the City of 1075 Roseville providing regulations for treatment and dis- posal of soil contaminated with petroleum products, be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays: None.
