Parking capacity. <br /> <br />3. Compatibility of the proposed use with the <br />adjacent school, the surrounding residential area, <br />and others at the discretion of the City Council. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, and Rog. <br />Nays: Thomas. <br /> <br />Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that the North Subur- <br />ban Youth Association's request for renewal of a Class <br />B gambling license at 2540 Cleveland Avenue North <br />(Roseville Holiday Inn) be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, and Rog. Nays: <br />None. <br /> <br />Johnson moved, Cushman seconded, that the North Subur- <br />ban Youth Association's request for a Class B gambling <br />license at the Ground Round Restaurant, 2100 N. <br />Snelling Avenue, be approved and the sixty day waiting <br />period be waived. Roll Call, Ayes: Johnson, Cushman, <br />and Rog. Nays: Maschka and Thomas. <br /> <br />ITEMS REMOVED FROM CONSENT AGENDA (OPTIONAL) <br />Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that Resolution 8573, <br />denying Adel Alwan's application for license to <br />operate an amusement place, five amusement devices, <br />game room, and two pool tables at 2180 North Dale <br />Street due to the following findings of fact, be <br />adopted: <br /> <br />1. That the proposed use is not compatible with the <br />school located directly across from the facility. <br /> <br />2. That the proposed use would have an adverse <br />effect on the surrounding residential area. <br /> <br />3. That parking is inadequate for the facility. <br /> <br />Roll Call, Ayes: <br />and Rog. Nays: <br /> <br />Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, Thomas, <br />None. <br /> <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />GAMBLING <br />LICENSE <br />RENEWAL <br /> <br />NORTH SUBURBAN <br />YOUTH <br />ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />8573 <br /> <br />H. ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br />H-1 Thomas moved, Cushman seconded, that Ordinance 1075, ORDINANCE <br />adding Chapter 170 to the City Code of the City of 1075 <br />Roseville providing regulations for treatment and dis- <br />posal of soil contaminated with petroleum products, be <br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Johnson, Cushman, <br />Thomas, and Rog. Nays: None. <br />
