<br />REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that the tenant sign-
<br />age criteria for the Rosedale Commons Shopping Center
<br />at 2480 Fairview Avenue North be approved according to
<br />plans dated May 8, 1991. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas,
<br />Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Johnson seconded, that staff be autho-
<br />rized to execute option agreements with eleven home-
<br />owners at 35W and Highway 36. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas,
<br />Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that authorization to
<br />enter into a Development Agreement with Everest
<br />Development Company be continued to the regular city
<br />Council meeting of July 8, 1991. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Pope Associates,
<br />Inc. request for withdrawal of reconsideration of a
<br />condition of approval for the emission testing facil-
<br />ity at 2931 Partridge Road be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Ordinance 1093,
<br />prohibiting the sale of tobacco products under certain
<br />circumstances including prohibiting sales through
<br />vending machines, providing for licensing for sales of
<br />tobacco products and procedures for regulating licens-
<br />ing and regulating the sale of tobacco products,
<br />effective October 1, 1991, be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: Thomas and
<br />Johnson.

<br />Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that the city Manager
<br />be authorized to sign a contract with Nordic Ice Tech-
<br />nology for the installation of the Scan ice Energy-
<br />saving System pending agreement with Nordic for the
<br />prorated purchase schedule agreed upon, baseline
<br />energy calculation schedule and a positive background
<br />investigation of Nordic Ice Technology. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Johnson moved, Thomas seconded, that the newly
<br />acquired NCR building (former Reeder School building)
<br />be named the Roseville Activity Center. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog.
