<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the city Manager
<br />be authorized to prepare an ordinance repealing Sec-
<br />tion 7.430 of the Roseville city Code, Transitional
<br />Uses in Residential Districts, for consideration at
<br />the August 26, 1991 city Council meeting. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that City staff be
<br />authorized to advertise vacancies on the Human Rights
<br />and Parks and Recreation Commissions in the local
<br />newspapers and City Newsletter. Roll Call, Ayes:

<br />F-l Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that the Metropolitan METROPOLITAN
<br />Council grant, in the amount of $27,000, for the pur- COUNCIL GRANT
<br />chase of residential recycling containers be accepted,
<br />and authorizing the City Manager to sign the Grant
<br />Agreement. The City's portion of the cost of the
<br />containers, in the amount of $27,000, shall be funded
<br />from the Permanent Improvement Fund. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Maschka, Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />F-2 Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Resolution 8698, RESOLUTION
<br />awarding the bid for City Project No. W-90-21 to Twin 8698
<br />City Electric in the base bid amount of $299,792;
<br />Alternate 1, SCADA system for the three storm water
<br />lifts in the amount of $12,171; Alternate 2, switch-
<br />over repeated radio backup system in the amount of
<br />$3,204 for a total bid amount of $315,168, be adopted.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that Resolution 8699,
<br />awarding the bid for City Project SS-90-22 to Ryan
<br />Contracting in the amount of $149,000, be adopted.

<br />Cushman moved, Maschka seconded, that an expenditure
<br />of $18,950 be authorized, for the purpose of moving
<br />the Motor Vehicle Department to a larger space in the
<br />Old City Hall. The $18,950 shall be funded from the
<br />General Plan Fund. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Ordinance 1097,
<br />amending Chapter 140 of the City Code of the city of
<br />Roseville providing for solid waste collection, be
<br />adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Cushman, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.
