The City requires that all work in the City be done by <br />licensed contractors. <br /> <br />2. Licenses are renewed on an annual basis. <br /> <br />3. Attached is a list of contractors who have requested 1991 <br />contractor's licenses. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Approve the list of contractors as listed. <br />2. Deny licenses of any or all of the attached licenses. <br /> <br />Policy Object~v~s: <br /> <br />The licensing of contractors insures that contractors are properly <br />licensed, have the proper insurance, and complete their work in a <br />workman like manner in conformance with all codes. The City can <br />deny or revoke a license for noncompliance. <br /> <br />Financial Implications: <br /> <br />1. Fees are obtained for each contractor license issued. <br /> <br />st3tf Recommepdatiops: <br /> <br />1. it is recommended that the City council approve the issuance <br />of contractors license for all of the contractors shown on the <br />attached list. <br /> <br />CQuncil Action Requesteq: <br /> <br />1.
